You enter people’s lives unexpectedly. We don’t even realize you’ve arrived and are completely unaware of your presence. You possess our souls with gloom and despair. You flood our thoughts with pain and sorrow. Not even the strongest warrior should be expected to fight this battle alone! I, on the other hand, am ready for you.

You are no stranger to me. You frighten me. You cloud my thoughts and hinder my decisions. You’re in my head. Your screams of terror and agony are so very present. You are trying to rip me apart, as you did others, with your words. I’m not listening anymore.

I know you…

I have watched you torture my loved ones. I have seen you reach deep into the very core of their being and tear at them from inside. You removed their smiles. You filled their eyes with tears and erased happiness and joy from their lives. I have witnessed your wrath first-hand as I watched those around me fall. I am still standing.

I know you…

I have seen you before. You came and took the one person I loved more than life itself from me! You abused her and tormented her until she could longer bear your burden. She fought with you as hard as she could. I saw her tears and the scars you left on her. I heard her crying in the middle of the night as she struggled through the dreams you forced upon her. You defeated her… but you will not have me!

I know you…

You entered my world just a short time ago. You have taken things from me I will never have back in my life. I hate you so bitterly for that. I despise you! Prepare yourself. You have never had to deal with my kind of strength. The strength you gave me when you took her from me. You have never had such an enemy as you now have in me. Unsheathe your sword and raise your shield. Ready yourself for defeat. I will prevail… and you will lose!

In her honor, I will slay you! Your blood will be splattered across the heavens for all to see. Through me, they will know. You are not all-powerful. You can and will be defeated. I will bring you such pain and agony you couldn’t possibly exist in my life again. I will never let you enter my world or take another love from me. This is my warning to you. Heed it well my enemy… your time is short!
